But is this really true? Are these celebrities really accomplishing these feats and better yet,  how are they doing it? Why aren&#8217;t we getting the same results?</p>
<p>Well, the answer is yes, these weight loss feats are really possible and we’re going to talk about what they are doing and you aren’t. Truth be told, they probably spend as much time as you do in the gym or maybe even less.  If you’re starting to feel bad, don’t! With a few simple tweaks you will understand and have the ability to duplicate their results starting today.</p>
<p>The first thing that you are probably doing and they are not, is spending time on the elliptical or walking on a treadmill. So let me  now introduce you to a concept called “high intensity”. High Intensity workouts are exercising at a higher rate of exertion that will burn more body fat in a shorter period of time than exercising at a lower rate of exertion for a period of time. Why is this? The fat burning process does not begin until our body’s core temperature is hot enough. Walking on a treadmill is such a low intensity exercise that our body temperature never rises enough to experience full fat burning effects.</p>
<p>Here’s how you can overcome this in your routine: start doing intervals on the treadmill to see increased results. Start by going at a jog for one minute than a walk for one, and so on for about twenty minutes. Over time as your endurance and fitness increase, you will be able to increase the speed and decrease the rest time to continue seeing results.</p>
<p>The second thing celebrities are doing that you and most others are not, is actually sticking to their <a href="http://redirectingat.com?id=1221X512157&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pjatr.com%2Ft%2F2-3529-12756-4491&sref=rss" target='_blank'>diet plans</a>. Your diet and how well you implement it will have a major impact on your weight loss efforts.  People consistently tend to think that since they are working out and that their metabolism is burning faster that they can still eat whatever they want. This is completely untrue, our bodies need the proper amounts of lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and fruits for the body to regulate and maintain a healthy weight. A good example of foods to stay away from would be anything that is processed. Processed foods are not well recognized by our bodies and therefore they hold very little nutritional value and often contain high amounts of fat and sodium which are counterproductive to weight loss. In other words, you must watch and regulate what you eat!</p>
<p>Two points to remember here are, first, do not waste an hour on the treadmill when you could be spending twenty minutes on the treadmill seeing better results. Second, diet is the key and if you ignore it you will not succeed in meeting your weight loss goals.</p>

<p>You see claims like this every day plastered across every advertising venue there is by savvy marketers and advertisers.  There are numerous lawsuits against companies and individuals for fraudulent and misleading advertisements that boldly proclaim fantastic results. Unfortunately, many people have suffered both financially and physically at the hands of these greedy and exploitative  marketers, and as a result lawyers have stepped in on behalf of consumers.</p>
<p>I know that everyone wants to lose weight quick, but you need to remember, there are no shortcuts to successful, long term, healthy weight loss.   The best way to find a weight loss program is to do your homework and research, find a program that has been around with a good, documented and  substantiated history. And above all, one that your doctor approves of!</p>
<p>It can be a lot of hard work  and require a lot more discipline and effort, but following a long term, doctor approved diet plan and exercise regimen will be much more beneficial and safer. Success will come, the pounds will drop off and you&#8217;ll feel much better and healthier. Taking shortcuts or buying into dieting &#8220;hype&#8221; may do more than just harm your wallet. Let&#8217;s get real here! There is no magical juice, powder, liquid or pill that can make the pounds disappear overnight!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are a lot of three day diets out there, and it’s no surprise why they’re so popular. The diets differ in what you get to eat and how you use them, but they all make the same promise: rapid weight loss. Very rapid weight loss.</p>
<p>The general promise is six pounds over the course of the diet. Since most people struggle to lose a pound a week, the promises of the three day diets are very appealing. But these diets do raise two big questions; do they work and are they safe?</p>
<p>Do they work? Yes and no. If you need to drop some pounds quickly to look your best for an event, then these three day diets can be extremely effective, because if followed as instructed, they will help you drop pounds and inches.</p>
<p>The problem is that they aren’t really designed for long term weight loss, which is why they are three day diets and not thirty year diets. They work mostly by causing a very rapid loss due to low carbohydrates and low salt content. Which is fine, because if you’re using them as a quick fix, that’s exactly what you want them to do.</p>
<p>But the weight will come back almost immediately when you resume normal eating habits, which is true of pretty much every diet. The three day diets are also, by their nature, very low in bulk, which means that your midsection will slim out quickly because there’s not much in your intestines.</p>
<p>The three day diets do lead to actual fat loss as well, since by their nature they are low in calories and they are short enough that there is no metabolic slowdown as you would get if you stayed on the program longer. Depending on your size and activity level, it’s unreasonable to expect to see from one to three pounds of actual fat loss.</p>
<p>Are they safe? Yes, usually. Frankly, a lot of people worry about the safety of diets a lot more than they really should. The human body is an immensely adaptable machine, and you can eat pretty much anything foodwise for short periods with no ill effects, or nothing at all.</p>
<p>Certainly, most of the three days diets are perfectly safe for a normal person who doesn’t have a preexisting illness. You can’t develop nutritional deficiencies over the course of three days. In addition, most of the three day diets actually have you eating healthier than the average person does normally.</p>
<p>Typically, the diets have you eating mostly meat, vegetables and fruit over the course of the three days, and elimination starches and sugar. This is actually a big improvement over the way the normal person eats, and the chance of you becoming deficient in <a href="http://redirectingat.com?id=1221X512157&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gopjn.com%2Ft%2F2-4121-12756-5866&sref=rss" target='_blank'>vitamins</a> or nutrients, even over the long term, is virtually non existent.</p>
<p>The problem with three day diets is that they are also extremely low in calories, typically below 1000 calories, and often much below. This is simply not enough calories even if you are trying to lose weight, and so you can’t say that the three day diets are safe for extended use.</p>
<p>What you can do is do a three on, four off version of the diet. In the three day period, do the diets exactly as planned, but for the next four days, eat the same foods without limiting portions. This will prevent metabolic slowdown and help make the three day diets work for you.</p>

<p>The 3 Day Cardiac Diet has set menu plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner for three days. Each day is limited to about 800 calories.  While some claim that there is a special “chemical reaction,” much of the weight loss benefit is likely obtained by the restricted calorie intake.  Also, there are very few carbs on the diet which leads to water loss.</p>
<p>You should drink six to eight cups of water a day on the program to speed digestion.</p>
<p>Tuna is the featured protein on the 3 day Cardiac diet. 1/2 cup of tuna is prescribed on the first two days, and on the final day, you will increase that to 1 cup. Variety and nutrition is provided with small to medium sized portions of cheese, eggs, crackers, vegetables, grapefruit, banana, and toast. <p>Some nutritionists express concerns about the restricted levels of calories and lack of a full range of nutritional options.   However, considering that the diet lasts only 3 days, these are not a major concern.</p>
<p>People following the 3 day cardiac diet will likely feel hunger pangs and have lower energy levels.  This is especially true by the third day.  But, keep in mind that the diet is of limited duration and you should be fine unless you have endurance based physical feats to perform.</p>
<p>Your body may start to recognize that only a limited food supply is available when you eat only 3 small meals a day.  It may begin to compensate by reducing metabolism and energy levels to conserve fat reserves. This can actually make it harder to lose weight and place the body under additional stress.</p>
<p>The 3 Day Cardiac diet is not suitable for long term dieting.  After 3 days you should start on a diet that offers more variety and more calories.</p>
<p>The 3 Day Cardiac Diet provides restricted calories and nutrients for its intended duration.  Your body can handle a fast for 3 days, so it certainly can handle a restricted calorie diet.  However, the diet is not a long term solution to your weight management concerns.</p>
<p>If you need to lose a few pounds in a short period of time, the 3 day cardiac diet can help to get you there.  If you are trying to lose those “last 5 pounds” and nothing else seems to be working, try the 3 day cardiac diet.  But follow it up with a sensible eating plan.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s not uncommon to lose a lot of weight very early in your weight loss and then to reach a plateau when it just seems like you can&#8217;t lose another pound to save your life.  This often happens because the weight you lose in the very beginning is just water weight and after a time that weight loss will start to slack off.  The good news is that you may still be losing unwanted fat, but this won&#8217;t come off as quickly so it may take longer to notice it, the nice thing about this is that losing fat is the only real way to get your body in the shape you want it to be in.  Losing water weight is only temporary but losing fat can be permanent.</p>

To get the maximum benefit form your workouts, make sure that you change your workouts frequently so your body doesn&#8217;t settle into a set routine.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many spas and salons offer a process called “body wrapping,” a procedure that claims to remove inches from the waist, thighs, hips or other parts of the body. The process includes the use of special wraps or clothing and can sometimes be used with special lotions or creams that are applied to the skin.</p>
<p>Customers are usually told that they can lose “inches” as opposed to pounds and that the fat will “melt” away bringing about a loss of inches in a very short period of time, usually an hour or so. One of the claims propagated is that wrapping will work because cellulite is “water logged fatty tissue.”</p>
<p>What overweight person wouldn’t love to find a product that will render them slim and trim while they sleep? Unfortunately, many people think that body wrapping is a relatively “new” procedure and jump on the bandwagon quickly. The truth is that the body wrapping craze has been around for some time. Over two decades ago, government “watchdogs” reported:</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><em>“Who can blame the fretfully flabby for being lured by the promise of losing inches without doing anything more strenuous than popping a pill or wrapping up the offending flesh? Who can resist ads for body wraps that promise ‘to burn away fat even while you sleep,’ to ‘lose 4-6 inches the first day?”</em><br />

<p><strong>What do these wraps consist of?<br />
</strong></p>
<p>Some are plastic or rubber garments worn around the waist, some cover the waist, hips and thighs, and others cover nearly the entire body in a “mummy fashion.”.  Some are to be worn while carrying out routine activities, others while exercising, and some while sleeping. One is inflated with air from a vacuum cleaner. Another uses an electric hair dryer to blow in warm air. Some are used after a cream, gel or lotion is applied or after the wrap is soaked in a solution.</p>
<p>The garments and wraps, with or without lotions and creams, claim that they reduce body dimensions by removing fluids. Most medical experts agree that such treatment will cause a loss of inches and perhaps pounds due to profuse perspiration (sweating) and that the reductions are temporary. The fluid is soon replaced by drinking or eating.</p>
<p>Remember, rapid and excessive fluid loss is potentially dangerous because it can bring on severe dehydration and can upset the balance of important electrolytes in the body. Reputable spas are aware of any potential hazards such as this, so do your homework and select a spa with a good reputation.</p>
<p>Some people have tried using “plastic wrap” as body wrap material. In fact, that was a very popular practice several decades ago. Body wrapping has evolved since those days, becoming much more sophisticated. Prices for a body wrap range anywhere from $40 an hour up to as much as several thousand dollars at some of the upscale spas.</p>
<p>Some advertising claims that body wrapping will eliminate, or at the least reduce, cellulite but we’ll leave that up to you to determine. What we can tell you is that visiting a spa or salon for body wrapping may be a wonderfully rejuvenating experience, leaving you rested, relaxed and refreshed. And who wouldn’t like to have a few hours being pampered and fussed over in a relaxing environment regardless if it helps the cellulite or weight problem?</p>
<p>Some spas advertise herbal and/or other natural wraps. In fact, the methods and products applied are widely varied. Let’s explore some of the components that make up a good “wrap” experience.</p>
<p><strong>Herbal wraps</strong>:</p>
<p>Some of the higher end spas go so far as to grow their own “herbs” for use in their body wraps, but that isn’t necessary for a good body wrap experience. Herbs can be fresh, or dried and usually organically grown is best. Each herb has a specific effect. Some increase circulation, another may soothe the skin and so on.</p>
<p>The herbs are steeped in very hot water (almost boiling) then special muslin sheets are soaked in the solution. It is these herb-infused sheets along with other insulating layers that wrap around the body. How the treatments work is interesting. The goal is to create a condition not unlike your body when you have a fever. We all know that when we have a fever, our body eliminates toxins by sweating. It’s the same principle with body wraps. The results vary. Some people report a very intense <a href="http://redirectingat.com?id=1221X512157&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pjatr.com%2Ft%2F2-410-12756-181&sref=rss" target='_blank'>detoxification</a> while for others it might be mild.</p>
<p>Methods of application and content vary as well. Seaweed, mud and salt are popular body wraps. Most often, the subject is wrapped from neck to toe with the arms set close to the sides of the body. This can be uncomfortable for someone who suffers from claustrophobia. The easiest correction for this is to keep the arms free from the wrap. Most people who are claustrophobic find this works and that all they need  is to be able to feel free to remove themselves if they so choose.</p>
<p>Whatever type of body wrap you select make certain that you feel comfortable with the spa and that a technician is always close at hand. Extreme care should be taken when selecting a salon or spa for this kind of treatment. Some things to consider:</p>
<ul>
<li>How long have they been offering body wraps?<strong> </strong></li>
<li>Do they have a <em>licensed</em> clinician whose sole purpose is massage and/or body wraps?</li>
<li> Where do their herbs and other contents come from?</li>
<li>Do they offer any special pricing for new clients?</li>
<li>Will they allow a tour of their facilities prior to purchase?</li>
<li>Have they had any unresolved complaints reported by the Better Business Bureau?</li>
<li>Do they have any package pricing for multiple visits?</li>
</ul>
<p>Also, watch your local publications for coupon offers. This can be a good way to try out a service at a bargain.<br />
Ask your friends if they have had a body wrapping experience and whether they enjoyed it and what kind of results did they experience. You may even want to check for “two for one” specials and try it out with a friend!</p>
<p>Whether or not the experience reduces your cellulite, and follow the guidelines above, you are probably in for a pleasant experience. Who knows, you might just like it enough to include it in your long term personal care budget!</p>
