<p>No one is perfect, and we should not have to completely cut out the foods that we really enjoy. It is OK to let yourself cheat every once in a while, using moderation. The best way to do this is to pick your cheat meals once or twice a week. If you&#8217;re a big chocolate lover, try half of that candy bar you love for desert with your lunch instead of eating the whole thing like you normally would several times a week. Cutting down on bad foods will drastically decrease your calorie intake on a weekly basis allowing you to lose those extra pounds much faster.</p>

<p>Foods rich in fiber absorb much more water and are able to expand in the stomach giving you a much fuller feeling, and foods high in protein take much longer to digest. It is best to make sure you are eating lean protein sources such as, chicken breast, salmon, egg whites, and the like.</p>

<p>It all begins with how many meals we eat a day. Your body should never feel really hungry or starved. <p>The first thing to consider is how much protein you are consuming everyday on average. It is recommended that you consume about one gram of protein per pound of body weight if you are participating in high intensity strength and cardio exercise on a weekly basis. If you weigh 150 pounds you should be getting about 150 grams of protein a day spread out over 5-6 meals. So knowing this, you can conclude that each meal should have at least 25 grams of protein in it to ensure full recovery and weight loss.</p>
<p>Low carbohydrate diets seem to be very popular these days, but are they effective? You should be consuming 1.5 times as many carbs as you are grams of protein. But, these should be what are known as <em>low glycemic carbs</em>. These are foods that will not cause a dramatic insulin spike which can throw off your metabolism. Complex carbohydrates are an important part in the energy production process within our muscles. Basically what these nutrients are doing is allowing your muscles to work at a higher intensity to in turn boost strong positive effects on the metabolism.</p>

But is this really true? Are these celebrities really accomplishing these feats and better yet,  how are they doing it? Why aren&#8217;t we getting the same results?</p>
<p>Well, the answer is yes, these weight loss feats are really possible and we’re going to talk about what they are doing and you aren’t. Truth be told, they probably spend as much time as you do in the gym or maybe even less.  If you’re starting to feel bad, don’t! With a few simple tweaks you will understand and have the ability to duplicate their results starting today.</p>
<p>The first thing that you are probably doing and they are not, is spending time on the elliptical or walking on a treadmill. So let me  now introduce you to a concept called “high intensity”. High Intensity workouts are exercising at a higher rate of exertion that will burn more body fat in a shorter period of time than exercising at a lower rate of exertion for a period of time. Why is this? The fat burning process does not begin until our body’s core temperature is hot enough. Walking on a treadmill is such a low intensity exercise that our body temperature never rises enough to experience full fat burning effects.</p>
<p>Here’s how you can overcome this in your routine: start doing intervals on the treadmill to see increased results. Start by going at a jog for one minute than a walk for one, and so on for about twenty minutes. Over time as your endurance and fitness increase, you will be able to increase the speed and decrease the rest time to continue seeing results.</p>
<p>The second thing celebrities are doing that you and most others are not, is actually sticking to their <a href="http://redirectingat.com?id=1221X512157&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pjatr.com%2Ft%2F2-3529-12756-4491&sref=rss" target='_blank'>diet plans</a>. Your diet and how well you implement it will have a major impact on your weight loss efforts.  People consistently tend to think that since they are working out and that their metabolism is burning faster that they can still eat whatever they want. This is completely untrue, our bodies need the proper amounts of lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and fruits for the body to regulate and maintain a healthy weight. A good example of foods to stay away from would be anything that is processed. Processed foods are not well recognized by our bodies and therefore they hold very little nutritional value and often contain high amounts of fat and sodium which are counterproductive to weight loss. In other words, you must watch and regulate what you eat!</p>
<p>Two points to remember here are, first, do not waste an hour on the treadmill when you could be spending twenty minutes on the treadmill seeing better results. Second, diet is the key and if you ignore it you will not succeed in meeting your weight loss goals.</p>

<p>Here’s little quiz for you.</p>
<p>1. Do you love to eat? Ice cream, chips, fried foods, big slices of fresh bread, chocolate, cheese, sauces… Any of those making you drool?</p>
<p>2. Are you slacking off on the amount of exercise you should be doing? Making excuses to get out that exercise video, go to the gym, or even take a 1/2 hour walk every day? Who has time for that?</p>
<p>3. Do you wish you had more disposable income? Maybe an extra $100 per month to start?</p>
<p>If you answered “Yes” to at least 2 of the three questions above, you’re going to love this article.</p>
<p>But, first, don’t feel badly if you aren’t eating well enough and aren’t exercising enough. You aren’t alone.</p>
<p>If you’re like most humans on the planet – you love to eat. Maybe a little too much. And, again, if you’re like most people on the planet, you’re not getting enough exercise. Perhaps you’re too busy working or taking care of your family, but the fact is that you’re not taking good enough care of yourself. And, finally, if you’re like most people on the planet – you’d like more money.</p>
<p>Here’s what I’m going to propose.</p>
<p>Start a Fitness Journal or Weight Loss Journey Blog for Fun and Profit</p>
<p>The cool thing is that you don’t HAVE to be an expert to succeed at this. In fact, the more believable you are as a flawed human being, the better off you can do.</p>
<p>Think about this. Who is the average American more likely to believe and trust?</p>
<p>1. Someone who has 3% body fat and looks like they spend all day at the gym and have natural genetics for general awesomeness?</p>
<p>or…</p>
<p>2. Someone who has a before picture where they weighed 400 lbs and an after picture weighing in at a healthy 170?</p>
<p>I would want to know how the second person pulled it off. Don’t you?! Not only that, but if the blog was believable, I’d probably tell my friends, post on Facebook about it, and buy everything they offered about how I can lose weight, too!</p>
<p>So what does this mean? Simple. People search online for solutions to their problems. A BIG problem for people is their overall weight and lack of exercise. So, if you set up a blog, you can not only help those people but … and this is the best part … hold yourself accountable to lose weight, too.</p>
<p>Your first blog post can be as simple as this:</p>
<p>“My name is Sally and I have a confession to make. I need to lose about 80 lbs. How’d I gain it all? Well, it snuck up on me one potato chips at a time, but I’m determined to lose it because (insert your reason why here).  I’d like to use this blog as a diary to show you how I do it. I’ll share the ups and downs along the way. Share anything that works really well. And, the fads that I try that don’t. So you can avoid them! Please come back often to see how I’m doing. I’d love to cheer you on, too. So please comment and let me know how much weight you need to lose so we can do it together.”</p>
<p>You can do that. It’s as simple as writing an email.</p>
<p>The only trick is in getting started. That’s where I come in.</p>

Low carb, high protein. This is the best way to treat your hypoglycemia. If you make the changes you need to make in your diet then you may be able to improve or even eliminate your hypoglycemia.</p>
<p>If you cut the carbs then you should improve your situation dramatically. Eliminate or at least cut down on your intake of alcohol. Alcohol can greatly affect the frequency of hypoglycemic instances.</p>
<p>Decrease the amount of sugar in your diet. Stop drinking pop. Pop has no place in a diet for hypoglycemia. Cut down your use of white sugar, also. But do not just blindly start drinking diet pop, either, diet pop is poison and the chemical used in diet pop will actually trick your body into staying fat.</p>
<p>Increase your fiber intake. Fiber can help regulate the absorption of sugars that you eat. Try increasing the amounts of whole grains, fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and legumes. All full of fiber and very good for you.</p>
<p>Now, if you have been doing some research, you have found that three meals a day is no longer the standard. What you should be doing, especially if you have diabetes or hypoglycemia, is eating several small meals a day. Small meals will help keep your blood sugar levels stabilized and under control.</p>
<p>Caffeine is another aspect of your diet that you should limit or even eliminate. Caffeine will actually help you feel full or at least less hungry and therefore you will not eat the way you should. Caffeine is never a substitute for a good meal.</p>
<p>These are the important changes that you should try to make and stick with when learning to deal with your diagnosis of hypoglycemia or even diabetes. Stay positive and don&#8217;t think of this as things you can no longer have. Think of this as an adventure in finding out all the new things you can have. When your blood sugars have stabilized then  you can probably even reintroduce some of the old things you used to love, just in moderation from now on.</p>
<p>Having diabetes or hypoglycemia is not a death sentence, unless you choose to not do what is necessary to control it. Then you could find yourself in trouble. Big trouble. Symptoms for mild to moderate hypoglycemia are nausea, chills, cool, clammy skin, sweating, hunger, heart palpitations, irritability, anxiousness, confusion, blurry vision, and dizziness.
